How to Trade MM2 Godlies Safely
Updated 6 November 2026
Stay inside the official trade window, compare demand as well as listed value, and learn the common scams: fake middleman, go first, gift cards and lookalike items.
Most MM2 losses are not bad math. They are rushed trades, lookalike swaps and people leaving the official window. Values help you prepare. The window protects the swap itself.
Use the official trade window only
- MM2 trading requires level 10 and limits you to four different items.
- There is a short wait each time an item is added. Use that wait to re-read every name.
- Never send an item first outside the window. Nothing outside it is protected.
- You do not need a middleman. The window swaps both sides at once.
Scam to watch: fake middleman
Someone may say they will hold both items so the trade is safe. That helper is not part of the game. A fake middleman often asks you to give your godly first, then leaves with it. The official window already swaps both sides together. If a stranger wants to hold your item, say no.
Scam to watch: go first
Go first means they want your item before they put theirs in. Outside the official window you have no protection. Anyone who rushes you, calls you scared, or says a trusted friend will go second is not making a fair deal. Wait for both sides to show in the window, then accept.
Scam to watch: Discord gift cards
Nobody who wants your godly needs a Discord, Amazon or Roblox gift card, extra Robux outside the game, or your password. Those are not MM2 trades. Close the chat and keep your account to yourself. A real trade only uses the items already in the game.
Scam to watch: lookalike items
Some knives and guns share colors or close names. A cheaper seasonal copy, a chroma or a unique can look like the expensive godly in a tiny trade slot. Read the full name, match the picture on BloxDesk, and use the short pause after each item is added. If the picture or spelling feels off, cancel.
Read value and demand together
An even sum is not automatically a fair trade. Evergreen, Alienbeam and Raygun move more easily than a low-demand pile that adds up to the same number. Darkshot and Darksword are often tagged underpaid, so paying the full list there is a common way to lose value. Check demand, not only the number.
One big item versus many small ones
Trading a single high godly for several cheaper pieces usually favors the person who keeps the big item, because it is easier to resell. If you take the pile, you also take the work of moving each piece.
Check the godly values table, the value changes page and the calculator before you open a trade. Ignore any value screenshot a stranger sends you in chat.
