Awakened Dough PvP Combo Guide
Updated 6 November 2026
A short, practical combo plan for awakened Dough: stun first, extend, then finish with sword or fighting style.
Awakened Dough is the combo fruit most players point to in the current PvP snapshot. Public summer 2026 notes made its stuns and hitboxes more reliable. You still need practice. This page is a simple plan, not a frame-perfect script.
What Dough is good at
- Starting a fight with a stun that is hard to walk out of.
- Breaking or tricking Instinct so the rest of the combo can land.
- Giving you time to swap into a sword or fighting style finisher.
A simple combo plan
- Open with the awakened stun move (many players lead with C) so the other person cannot dash away.
- Follow with X or Z while they are stuck. Held versions travel farther if they try to create space.
- Use V when you need a longer hold or a finish, then swap to your sword or fighting style.
- Cursed Dual Katana or Godhuman are common finishers, but any sword you already land consistently is better than a fancy one you miss.
Practice tips
- Learn the combo in a private or empty server first.
- If someone keeps Instinct up, wait for the move that breaks it instead of mashing.
- Dough before awakening is much weaker. If the fruit feels clumsy, finish the awakening checklist first.
Move names and exact timing can shift after a patch. If a combo suddenly drops, check the meta snapshot and go back to stun, then extend, then finish.
